Signature Information Solutions encourages employees to individually volunteer their time and give back to our local communities. We also plan group volunteer initiatives that not only can have a positive impact on those outside of our organization – they create a sense of teamwork and foster friendships between coworkers.
Each year in September, we observe our biggest volunteer event: Day of Caring at our office and among our field staff. Our office employees take time out from their work day to share the experience of volunteerism with their colleagues. Our field staff are encouraged to spend time volunteering in their local communities. This year, our office staff actually observed two Days of Caring, with projects to benefit two charities: we bagged lunches for the Salvation Army and assembled hygiene kits for local organization Homefront. A group of our associates also visited a nearby Salvation Army site to assist with the sorting and organization of donated toys as part of their Holiday Assistance Program.
Day of Caring is a way that the many faces of our organization collectively join together to accomplish one important goal - to benefit our local communities and those less fortunate. And while we are helping our community, we also can enjoy some time with our colleagues.
